Here are some tips to help your blocks grow faster and bigger. You can move and slice into your opponents to swallow their blocks if they are smaller than you. The speed boost will not only help you catch up with your opponents quickly but also help you escape from other players. Also, avoid the split sign as it will halve your numbers. Since you start with a small number, gradually build up your power by moving to the arena's edges and collecting small numbers.
